Vitamin And Mineral Supplements

- Apitamin® contains Cyproheptadine, which causes 
 increase the appetite and is proven to be of profound 
 use in conditions of eating disorders. 
- Apitamin® solution helps in increasing weight 
 Increase the appetite alone may not be always useful.
 Therefore Apitamin® solution is fortified with 
 benefits of B-Vitamins, which is known to help in 
 metabolism of ingested foods and release energy.

  flavoured that invites childrens acceptance.

Indecation

- Apitamin® is specially formulated for those 
 children,adolescents and adults, who have nutritional
  deficiency associated with eating disorders may lead 
  to serious consequences in advancing life.

Dosage & Administration

 Children (2 - 6 years):
 1 teaspoonful (5 ml) 2 times a day.
 Children (7 - 14 years):
 2 teaspoonfuls (10 ml) 2 times a day.
 Adolescents & Adults:
 2 teaspoonful (10 ml) 3 times a day. or as directed by 
 the physician.

- Each 5ml of  Apitamin®  solution contains:
     Cyproheptadine hydrochloride           2 mg.
     Vitamin  B1                                         1 mg.
     Vitamin  B2                                      0.5 mg.
     Vitamin  B6                                      0.5 mg.
     Vitamin  B12                                      1mcg.
     Nicotinamide                                    10 mg.

-Hypersensivity to the (APIS) , Newborn or premature
  infants, breast-feeding mothers, angle-closure 
 glaucoma, peptic ulcer, symptomatic prostatic
 hypertrophy,bladder neck obstruction, pyloroduodenal 
 obstruction.

-Apitamin® should not be administered simultaneously
 with other medicines which are Central Nervous 
 System depressors.
 

- Apitamin® is not used during pregnancy and 
 lactation.
 

-In adults drowsiness can occur, for which reason 
 cautions is recommended in driving or in performing
  tasks requiring alertness.
 If you notice any side effects not mentioned in this 
 leaflet, please inform your doctor or pharmacist.

 Over-dosage:-
-At therapeutic doses, there is no risk of intoxication. In 
 the event of a massive accidental ingestion, the patient
  should be kept under strict observation and 
 symptomatic measures should be taken.
 

 Apitamin® may increase somnolence, in a way that 
 special care is recommended in patients driving cars, 
 or operating machines.

- Apitamin® solution:Bottle of 120 ml.
 

- Apitamin® solution: protect from light at 
 temperature not exceeding 30°C.
