 Cefadroxil is well absorbed from G.I.T. even in the  presence of food. It also exhibits a long serum half life, and thus a prolonged duration of activity. It is widely
 distributed to body tissues and fluids. These characteristics allow for once or twice daily administration  of  Cefadroxil. 
 Cefadroxil has a bactericidal action against  Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria such as:   
 Staphylococci, β-hemolytic streptococci, Streptococci  pneumonia, E . coli, Klebsiella and Proteus mirabilis.

- Each capsule of CEFACURE® 500 contains:
 Cefadroxil 500 mg (as Cefadroxil Monohydrate USP)
- Each capsule of CEFACURE® 250 contains: 
 Cefadroxil 250 mg (as Cefadroxil Monohydrate USP)
- Each 5 ml of CEFACURE® 250 For oral suspension
  contains:  
 Cefadroxil 250 mg (as Cefadroxil Monohydrate USP) 
- Each 5 ml  of CEFACURE® 125 For oral suspension
  contains: 
 Cefadroxil 125 mg (as Cefadroxil Monohydrate USP)
- Each 1ml of CEFACURE® 100  for oral pediatric 
 drops contains:
 Cefadroxil 100 mg (as Cefadroxil Monohydrate USP)

CEFACURE® should not be administered to patients who have shown hypersensitivity to cephalosporins.

CEFACURE® should be used during pregnancy only if  clearly needed. 
 Cefadroxil is excreted in breast milk and should be  used  CEFACURE® with caution in lactating mothers. 

As with other cephalosporins, few patients may experience  some gastrointestinal disturbances as  diarrhea, nausea and  vomiting. Very rarely allergic manifestations, superinfec-  tions (upon prolonged administrations) and other rare adverse reactions  may occur.

CEFACURE® should be used  with caution in patients  with impaired renal function.

- CEFACURE® Capsule 250 mg or 500 mg 
  (Blister of 10 capsules, Pack of one blister.) 
- Hospital packs of different sizes.
- Oral suspension (Bottle of 60 ml after reconstitution.)
- Oral drops (Bottle of 10 ml after reconstitution.) 

- Store in a dry place at a temperature below 30°C.
