Moxalin 1000

 Amoxicillin is well absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract  
 giving high concentration in the serum, tissues and urine. The 
 ingestion of food does not greatly reduce the absorption of 
 Amoxicillin.
 Amoxicillin is a broad spectrum antibiotic effective against 
 both Gram-positive and Gram-negative organisms including: 
 α- and β-hemolytic streptococci, Pneumococci, non  
 penicillinase producing Staphylococci, Diphtheria, H. 
 influenzae, Salmonella, Shigellae, E. coli, some Proteus  
 strains, Brucellae, Gonococci and Meningococci.

- Each film coated tablet of MOXALIN® 1000 contains:
   Amoxicillin    1000 mg (as Amoxicillin Trihydrate USP)
- Each capsule of MOXALIN® 500 contains:
   Amoxicillin    500 mg (as Amoxicillin Trihydrate USP)
- Each capsule of MOXALIN® 250 contains: 
  Amoxicillin    250 mg (as Amoxicillin Trihydrate USP)
- Each 5 ml of MOXALIN® 250 for oral susp. contains:
  Amoxicillin    250 mg (as Amoxicillin Trihydrate USP)
- Each 5 ml of MOXALIN® 125 for oral susp. contains:
   Amoxicillin    125 mg (as Amoxicillin Trihydrate USP)
- Each 1 ml of MOXALIN® for Infant Drops contains:
  Amoxicillin    100 mg (as Amoxicillin Trihydrate USP)

 MOXALIN® should not be administered to patients who have 
 shown hypersensitivity to penicillins.
 

- MOXALIN® suitability in human pregnancy has been well
  documented in clinical studies.
- During lactation, trace quantities of MOXALIN®  can be
  detected in breast milk, caution should be excercised when 
  administerted to nursing woman.

 Side effects, as with other  penicillins, are usually of a mild and    
 transitory nature: may include diarrhea, indigestion or skin    
 rash.

- The possibility of super-infections with mycotic or bacterial
   pathogens should be kept in mind during therapy. If
   super-infections occur, the drug should be discontinued and
   appropriate therapy instituted. 
- The possible occurrence of anaphylactic reactions should also
   be borne in mind.
- There should be monitoring of plasma and urine levels for
   patients with renal impairment.

- MOXALIN® 1000 mg film coated tablet:
   Blister of 5 tablets, Pack of two blisters.
- MOXALIN® 500 mg or 250 mg Capsule:
   Blister of 10 capsules, Pack of two blisters.
   Blister of 10 capsules, Pack of 10 blisters. 
   Hospital packs of different sizes.
- For oral suspension:
  Bottle of 100 ml after reconstitution. 
- Infant Drops: Bottles of 10 ml after reconstitution.

- Store in a dry place at a temperature below 25 °C.
